Stolen Away
When the stolen generation happened the women lost their children this left them heart broken. A quote by Cecily Hamptom a child taken away now as a adult. "We knew we were dark but we had to grow up like white people. We were told we had to fit in, to blend in and to do what you're told, whether we liked it or not, we had to do it.

More Information
Females played a major role. The women shared independent relationships with the men. After hunting, the men would give their catch to the women to cook. The men strictly never gather with the women. Aboriginal women held the knowledge of how to dish up certain foods this is because some types of food need special processing before they can be eaten. They made and mended tools for the men. They also made and mended tools for themselves so that they could cook and gather food.
